Winn-Dixie Grand Openings and Remodels - Rolling List

Winn-Dixie #2238 in St. Cloud, FL - pictured above - kicked off The Winn-Dixie Company's new era of store design in November 2025, including the new "Centennial" interior decor.

After what seems like an agonizingly long process, the time has finally come to where the Winn-Dixie to Aldi conversions are drawing to a close.  While there are still a few more to be officially announced, the number of conversions trickling out on a weekly basis has been drying up, with most weeks of late having zero new confirmations entering mid-2026 (down from an average four to five conversion announcements).  As this dark part of Winn-Dixie's legacy slowly slips into the rearview mirror, it's time to look ahead toward the company's future.  Following the sale of the remaining Winn-Dixie stores to new ownership in early 2025, we have begun to catch a few glimpses of what the "100 year old startup" is going to look like.  Remodels began once again in late 2025 following a two year pause, and we also got our first announcements of upcoming new stores.

Winn-Dixie #102 in Williston, FL - pictured above - marked Winn-Dixie's first true "new store" of The Winn-Dixie Company era.  It opened in December 2025 in a former Hitchcock's Market.

Much like the accompanying rolling list on the conversions and outright closures being announced, this will serve as a rolling post with a more optimistic note – to showcase all of Winn-Dixie's completed and upcoming new stores and remodels since the dawn of the chain's post-Aldi rebranding as The Winn-Dixie Company.  Below you will find a breakdown of the new store announcements and confirmed remodels the MFR team has compiled from various sources. Be sure to keep an eye on this page for updates, and here's to a successful rebound for The Winn-Dixie Company!
